Kelly Soley
Kelly is a licensed Clinical Social Worker who is endorsed by the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health. She also holds the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). Kelly has provided support to families in the infant and early childhood field for over 10 years and founded Relational Wellness in 2020, with the hope of providing continued support to individuals, families and front-line and essential workers during this difficult time.
Kelly uses a variety of evidence-based approaches including relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-focused practices. She is also trained in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Kelly plans to continue to her training with the integration of EMDR into the practice of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.
At an early age, Kelly was aware of the impact of relationships and support within the family. She observed the differences in the caregiving relationship when a parent was supported and when they were not. Kelly, like many other parents, has struggled with the postpartum period and the transition of becoming a mother. She understands firsthand the unique challenges and profound importance of new parents being nurtured and cared for, as they are trying to do the same for their baby.
