At relational wellness we provide services for individuals and families across the lifespan, as we understand the importance of healing within relationships at any age.

 

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment that is used to help heal symptoms and distress related to trauma and traumatic memories.  You do not have to talk about the trauma in order to do this therapy – you can let your body move through the process to heal itself. Perinatal Mental Health

Perinatal mental health provides support from the moment you begin to dream about starting your family and extends through the first few years of your child’s life.  Perinatal support encompasses women, men, birthing and non-birthing caregivers. 

Provides support for:

  • Foster Care

  • Adoption

  • Infertility

  • Birth Trauma

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Strengthening family relationships

  • Perinatal Mood Disorders

Infant Mental Health

Infant mental health services are rooted in social/emotional development for children through the first few years of their life. This approach is relationship-based and supports optimal development between child and caregiver. Infant mental health We support the family dyad by observing interactions, providing developmental guidance and parent-child psychotherapy based on the needs of each individual family.

Provides support for:

  • Postpartum Depression

  • CPS/ Foster care involvement

  • Depression and Anxiety

  • Strengthening family relationships

  • Separation and loss

  • Child social/emotional development


Reflective Supervision 

Kristina has many years of experience as a reflective supervisor in her current position as an Integrated Infant Mental Health Supervisor. She also offers individual and group reflective supervision and consultation; these services meet the requirements for endorsement through the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health and Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health.  Meetings are all held virtually.
